Yogi Adityanath, chief minister of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, said on Saturday that technology can help achieve the goal of ease of living as well as ease of doing business.
These remarks were made at the opening ceremony of a VFS Global Visa Application Centre.
With the opening of this centre, Lucknow will have access to a convenient location from which to apply for visas to ten different countries: Austria, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Estonia, Hungary, Portugal, Germany, Italy, and Saudi Arabia.
Adityanath has said that the opening of the VFS centre in Lucknow a week before the Global Investors Summit is an opportunity for the people of Uttar Pradesh.
He claimed that the opening of the centre would make obtaining visas to 10 countries much simpler for people living in the state.
“Today’s cutting-edge technologies make it possible to simplify not only our professional but also personal lives. Achievable results await those who put forth some effort in this direction “Moreover, he said.
More than 1,210,000 visa applications per year can be processed at this facility.
According to the state government’s skill development programme, “I have also been informed that VFS Global, in collaboration with the Indian Hotels Company Limited, will train the youth of the state in hospitality services,” said the chief minister.
He claimed that this would help the youth of Uttar Pradesh and help preserve the state’s tradition of “Atithi Devo Bhava.”
